Tejas holds firm as Airtel keeps up the pressure

Tejas Networks has said its telecom equipment meet the industry’s desired quality standards, effectively prolonging the gear capability saga that has lately pitted India’s second-largest telco – Bharti Airtel – against the Tata-owned firm.

“Since our equipment is co-existing with other operators’ equipment in all states across 100,000 sites, without any interference issues, it can obviously not be sub-standard in only one band in one state,” Tejas Networks told ET in a statement.
