Vodafone Idea (Vi) has sweetened retailer commissions in a bid to win back customers and regain competitiveness in the world’s second largest telecom market, having commenced 5G services in key markets this March.
Vi, a joint venture between UK’s Vodafone Group PLC and India’s Aditya Birla Group, is offering the highest commissions at 3% for recharges and new SIM additions as compared to Jio’s 1% and Airtel’s 2%, according to distributors and partners ET spoke to.
