Trump family’s cryptocurrency is now available for public buying and selling
The digital token, $WLFI, from the Trump family’s cryptocurrency venture, World Liberty Financial, has begun trading on major exchanges on Monday (September 1). This development marks a significant step for the “decentralised finance” platform, allowing investors to buy and sell the tokens and potentially boosting the value of the president’s own holdings.
According to a report by news agency Reuters, the World Liberty tokens have been designed to give holders voting rights on certain business decisions. These digital tokes were initially sold to investors without being tradable.
