TV Rating Guidelines

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has initiated a public consultation process for proposed amendments to the existing “Policy Guidelines for Television Rating Agencies in India”, originally notified on January 16, 2014. A formal notice, dated July 2, 2025, was issued inviting feedback and comments from the general public and stakeholders within thirty days of its publication. Through this move, the Ministry reinforces its focus on updating regulatory structures in broadcasting to keep pace with dynamic industry developments.
