Gujarat announces a policy boost

The Government of Gujarat, through its Department of Science and Technology, has introduced the “Gujarat Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy 2025” with the aim of boosting domestic manufacturing of electronic components in alignment with the Government of India’s broader electronics manufacturing initiatives. This state-level resolution is designed to supplement and synergize with the national Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme, notified by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on April 8, 2025, and governed by guidelines issued on April 26, 2025.
