Samsung moves to HC, wants out from Amazon and Flipkart antitrust investigation
Samsung has escalated its legal battle against the Competition Commission of India (CCI), challenging the legitimacy of a 2022 search and seizure operation that could potentially impact an ongoing antitrust investigation involving e-commerce platforms.
According to a report by Moneycontrol, the electronics giant has approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court to contest the evidence gathering method during a raid on Appario Retail, an Amazon reseller. At the center of the dispute is the CCI’s decision to clone the phones and data of three Samsung employees present during the operation.
