Dario Amodei-led Anthropic is SpaceX’s largest single customer that accounts for more than one-third of its revenue, a source told Bloomberg. The space company led by Elon Musk revealed in a filing next week that nearly 34.5% of its revenue during the last quarter came from a single client identified as “Customer B”. Anthropic, as per the report, is paying its AI division, now called Super Intelligence, which supplies computing power. Notably, Spacex’s revenue from Anthropic has surpassed payments from the US federal government, which was previously its biggest single customer.
The revelation comes days after Elon Musk said that he does not agree with Anthropic’s donation of its shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit.
