Technology Services Sector

NITI Aayog’s Frontier Tech Hub has released a comprehensive report titled “Technology Services – Reimagination Ahead”, laying out a ten-year roadmap for India’s technology services industry. The report charts a course for how India’s $265 billion technology services sector can scale to $750–850 billion by 2035, while reinforcing its global competitiveness in an AI-driven era. Contributing nearly 7 per cent to the country’s GDP and accounting for close to 20 per cent of the $1.3 trillion global technology services market, India’s tech sector has consistently outpaced global growth over the past decade. However, the report warns that sustaining this leadership will require a fundamental reimagination of how the industry operates, competes, and creates value.
