IBM deploys AI-ready data lakehouse for India’s Tata Play Fiber
NEW DELHI: The US-based IT firm IBM has deployed a next-generation, artificial intelligence (AI)-ready data lakehouse using the IBM watsonx for India’s Tata Play Fiber, to enable advanced analytics, strengthen customer retention, and unlock new sales opportunities.
The deal, whose financial terms were not disclosed, will unify 25 disparate data sources into a single, scalable environment.
Previously, the homegrown internet service provider’s (ISP) data across customer master records, marketing, finance, call center interactions, and service operations was distributed across multiple systems, resulting in inconsistencies and a lack of standardisation, impacting real-time reporting.
