Dating app users may soon bid farewell to mindlessly scrolling through hundreds of profiles, according to Hinge CEO Justin McLeod, who believes artificial intelligence will change online matchmaking within the next few years.
In an interview with Fast Company, McLeod predicted that AI-powered personalised matching will make mass swiping “relatively arcane” in three to five years, possibly sooner. The technology would allow users to articulate their preferences and values in natural language rather than the current “Morse code of likes and passes.”
