Claude down: Users report issues accessing the website, Claude Code and app

Anthropic’s Claude AI was down for hundreds of users on Wednesday, according to outage tracker Downdetector.

At around 7:14 PM, a total of 448 users reported issues. More than 57% of users experienced problems loading the website, while 24% could not access Claude Code. Another 19% reported issues with the app.

The company acknowledged the outage and said it was investigating the cause as of 8:03 PM.
