NEW DELHI: Artificial intelligence is rapidly emerging as a foundational layer in telecom operations, with the potential to simultaneously enhance customer experience and reduce costs, according to Randeep Sekhon, Chief Technology Officer at Bharti Airtel. Speaking on Friday, Sekhon highlighted how AI is enabling telecom operators to move beyond reactive service models to predictive, real-time problem solving, while also extending its impact into adjacent sectors such as energy optimisation.
