BSNL franchise partners seek redressal of demands
NEW DELHI: The franchise partners of state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) have blamed the telco’s network quality issues and distribution strategy, and sought an expedited resolution to their demands.
“The franchisees’ discontent with BSNL stems from its Sales & Distribution (S&D) Policy–2026, which governs franchise operations. It has retained a limited number of existing franchises only, while splitting or redistributing several territories without evaluating commercial viability and operational sustainability, Bimal Kumar Naulakha Jain, President of the National BSNL Franchisees’ Association (NBFA), in a letter dated March 10, 2026 told BSNL chairman.
