BSNL rolls out privacy-focused ‘Kavach’ number service for women subscribers

NEW DELHI: State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has launched a new service, BSNL Kavach, that allows its women subscribers to recharge their mobile connections at retail outlets without disclosing their personal contact number.

“Your number is personal. Your safety is powerful. With the BSNL Kavach Number, recharge without revealing your real number. Empowering women with secure and private connectivity,” BSNL said on microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter), on the occasion of International Women’s Day on Sunday.
