Union Budget 2026-27 reinforces confidence in India’s digital economy: Sunil Mittal

NEW DELHI: The Union Budget 2026-27 emphasises bolstering infrastructure and logistics sectors with a focus on energy-efficiency, while an impetus to the data centre ecosystem will reinforce confidence in India’s burgeoning digital economy, said Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder & chairman, Bharti Enterprises, on Sunday.

Terming it a bold Budget that combines growth with inclusion, Mittal said in a statement, “The strong emphasis on skilling, alongside sustained investments in science, innovation, and research are timely and will strengthen domestic capabilities, advancing import substitution in critical sectors.”
