Security alert: Researchers find Google Gemini can be used to steal your private data – here’s how

Google recently made Gemini smarter by adding support for the AI assistant with its Calendar app. While the new feature may look like a very nifty addition, security researchers have found that giving the AI more tools is also opening users up to a new class of vulnerabilities.

The researchers at Miggo Security have found a new vulnerability in Google’s ecosystem which allowed them to bypass Google Calendar’s privacy controls to gain access to private meeting data using just calendar invites.
