iPhone 18 leaks suggest major design tweaks, including under-display face ID and more

Apple is finally bringing the in-screen face ID system with the iPhone 18 series devices next year. According to a leak the Cupertino Tech Giant is prepping and testing an in-display Face ID system using ”spliced micro transparent glass”.

A leaker on Chinese Social Platform Weibo has claimed that Apple is testing the in-Display system. the individual named ”smart pikachu” has made this claims on Weibo. He also says that the company is testing the method that allows its TrueDepth system’s infrared sensors to pass through the display without distortion. Lastly this tipster has made claims that Apple has already notified suppliers to accelerate the supply chain for the potential new technology.
