US vendors Apple, Cisco, Broadcom, HPE jointly oppose Jio, Vodafone Idea on 6GHz band
NEW DELHI: The US technology companies, including Amazon, Apple, Broadcom, Cisco, Meta Platforms, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), and Intel Corporation, have jointly opposed Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea’s (Vi) demand to allocate spectrum in the upper 6GHz band for IMT (mobile) services.
The technology majors have instead sought the entire 6GHz band to be allocated for Wi-Fi services.
