Elon Musk’s X down: Twitter outage hits thousands of users globally

The social media platform X, owned by Elon Musk, is currently hit with a significant technical disruption impacting users globally. According to the performance monitoring service Downdetector.com, user complaints began surfacing at approximately 8:50 pm on Friday November 21, with complaints regarding unavailability of posts on both app and website.

Global incident reports on Downdetector exceeded 20,300, with roughly 2,500 originating from Indian users at peak disruption. During testing, The Times of India’s technology team was able to access X through mobile devices.
