ITS officials to power India of the future, says Vice President CP Radhakrishnan

NEW DELHI: The Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS) officers will have a decisive role in powering the India of the future, said Vice President CP Radhakrishnan on Friday.

“Telecommunication is the backbone of Digital India, supporting the edifice of governance, education, finance and innovation. If roads and railways powered the industrial era, then it (ITS) is your vision and stewardship that power the India of the future,” Radhakrishnan said at the diamond jubilee event of the ITS officers.
