First seven proposals under electronics component scheme approved, says Ashwini Vaishnaw

The government has approved the first seven proposals under the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme, including projects focused on printed circuit board (PCB) production, Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Monday.

Briefing the media, Vaishnaw said the approvals mark a major step in strengthening India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem and reducing import dependence for critical components.
