Perplexity CEO Aravind Srinivas has a warning for those using the AI browser Comet. Recently, a viral video showed an Indian web developer of suing Perplexity’s AI browser Comet to automatically complete a Coursera course which has sparked a sharp response from the company’s CEO Aravind Srinivas. The tech billionaire responded to the viral video. Srinivas reported the video on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) with a blunt warning: ‘Absolutely don’t do this’.
The controversy started when a developer named Amrit Nigam shared a 16-second video on the Comet AI completing a 45-minute assignment from Coursera’s “AI Ethics, Responsibility and Creativity” course.
