NEW DELHI: Union Minister of Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Thursday that the Centre has received investment proposals worth ₹1.15 lakh crore under the Electronic Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), against an envisaged target of nearly ₹59,000 crore.
Vaishnaw said the proposals have exceeded employment and production targets multifold compared to the goals outlined under the scheme, reflecting global confidence in India’s electronic manufacturing, policy stability, and competitive advantages.
