TCS drags SpiceJet to court over unpaid tech bills of ₹2.34 crore

The Delhi High Court has summoned SpiceJet in a recovery case filed by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), seeking attachment of the budget airline’s property at the Indira Gandhi International Airport’s Terminal 1D.

TCS is seeking recovery of ₹2.34 crore with interest from the airline towards services rendered between July 2019 to September 2023.

The carrier has “blatantly refused to pay” against invoices and payment plans since 2020 and ignored TCS’ requests, the IT major’s counsel Asav Rajan told the court. SpiceJet even failed to appear for mediation despite repeated opportunities given by the Delhi High Court legal services committee, he noted.
