Vodafone Idea awards BSS modernisation deal to TCS
NEW DELHI: India’s third-largest telecom carrier, Vodafone Idea (Vi), has awarded a business support system (BSS) modernisation deal to homegrown IT firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
The five-year deal would see TCS upgrading Vi’s BSS through an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven and future-ready platform, enabling the telco to enhance customer experience and accelerate the launch of new products and services, according to a joint statement on Thursday.
The transformation will be anchored on TCS’s flagship solution — TCS HOBS and TCS TwinX.
