Nokia wins 400G routing, software-defined access network deal from Netplus

NEW DELHI: Finnish telecom gear maker Nokia has won a 400G routing technology and software-defined access network (SDAN) deployment deal from homegrown internet provider Netplus Broadband, to enable high-speed broadband and IPTV services for the latter.

The deployment of these solutions will enable Netplus to additionally deliver immersive and flexible services to nearly 2 million users, and convert traditional linear TV subscribers to on-demand IPTV, the companies said in a joint statement.
