Recognise industrial electronics as national strategic priority: ICEA

NEW DELHI: The India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA) on Monday said that industrial electronics should be considered as a national priority, and noted that the segment is crucial for the country’s $500 billion electronics manufacturing target by FY31.

The Delhi-based industry body, which represents Chinese brands such as, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo, as well as Apple and Corning in India, noted that it is crucial to manufacture electronics that will automate factories, cities, and transport networks.
