Silicon Valley fumes as Indian techie Soham Parekh works multiple founders
For many, the shift to remote work was about flexibility or some extra sleep in the morning. But Indian techie Soham Parekh used it as an opportunity to experiment in simultaneous employment, allegedly working for as many as five startups at once. His strong resume first impressed founders, but then left them confused.
Suhail Doshi, founder of Playground AI, Mixpanel and Mighty, warned fellow tech CEOs on his social media, “There’s a guy named Soham Parekh (in India) who works at 3-4 startups at the same time. He’s been preying on YC companies and more. Beware,” his post on X read. YC refers to San Francisco-based startup accelerator Y Combinator.
