You just need to upskill quicker at AI-linked jobs: Report

The skills sought by employers are changing 66% faster in jobs that are most exposed to AI, compared to those that are least exposed to the technology, a recent report by global consulting firm PwC says. This is up 25% year-on-year, with the change fastest in automatable jobs.

Industries such as software publishing, where AI adoption is ahead of the curve, are seeing three times higher growth in revenue per employee than in industries least able to use AI. Demand for AI-skilled workers is growing fastest in the information and communication sector, followed by professional services and financial services, the report said.
