Nazara Tech completes acquisition of Curve Digital Entertainment for Rs 247 crore
Nazara Technologies announced that the company has completed the acquisition of 100 per cent of the issued share capital of Curve Digital Entertainment Ltd for around Rs 247 crore (GBP 21.7 million).
In a regulatory filing, the company said, “…we wish to inform you that, on June 11, 2025, Nazara UK has completed the acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital of Curve Digital Entertainment Ltd (Target Company/ CDEL), from the seller.”
Per the terms of the agreement, out of the total cash consideration of Rs 247 crore payable by the company to the seller, Nazara Technologies has already paid an amount of Rs 221 crore (GBP 19.11 million) and the remaining balance shall be paid in the manner as “outlined in the agreement”.
With this acquisition, CDEL has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Nazara UK and a step-down subsidiary of the company. Additionally, it added, Kuju Limited, Curve Digital Publishing Limited, Runner Duck Games Limited, Fiddlesticks Games Limited, Curve Games Development One Limited, IronOak Games Inc., Attack Games Limited, wholly owned subsidiaries of CDEL, have also become the stepdown subsidiaries of Nazara UK and the company.
Shares of Nazara Technologies were up 1.35 per cent at 12:00 today at a trading price of Rs 1,263.70.
Earlier in May, Nazara Technologies had released its fiscal fourth quarter earnings report with profit at Rs 4 crore. The company’s revenue from operations almost doubled to Rs 520 crore in Q4FY25. The gaming firm’s EBITDA stood at Rs 51 crore during the quarter under review. For the full year, Nazara Tech reported its highest ever annual EBITDA of Rs 153.5 crore.
