LG Electronics commences construction of new manufacturing facility at Sri City

Consumer electronics and home appliances player LG Electronics India Ltd (LGEIL) which is a wholly owned subsidiary of LG Electronics, on Thursday held the groundbreaking ceremony for its upcoming manufacturing unit at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. The facility will be LG’s third production unit in India and is being developed with an investment outlay of Rs 5,001 crore (about $600 million).
