Trai may go easy on timelines for telcos to take anti-spam steps

New Delhi: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) appears to be softening on its diktat to telcos for implementing the latest anti-spam measures within 30-60 days from February 12, after the industry highlighted the timelines were arbitrary and lacked transparency and technical analysis.
