Myawaddy scam valley: 2,000 Indians working in Myanmar’s cybercrime web

Nearly 2,000 Indians are at present involved in cyber scam operations in Myawaddy, a militia-controlled region near the Myanmar-Thailand border, according to The Times of India. Many were reportedly duped by fake job offers and are now being forced to carry out online fraud targeting victims in India and the US.
