Former Infosys CFO Mohandas Pai shared a post on microblogging site X (formerly Twitter) where blamed the Karnataka government for ‘messing up’ the metro project. He stated that the project was “delayed throughout due to bad management”. Tagging Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar in the post, Pai questioned “if it is ok to spend Rs 56000 cr of tax payers monies for freebies but not ok to be responsible for mismanaging BMRLC” aka Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited.

He further added that “All govts over past 15 years are responsible for this mess.”
