China opposes ‘politicising’ technology after JD Vance’s AI warning

China said Wednesday that it opposes “politicising” issues involving technology and trade, after US Vice President JD Vance warned that “authoritarian regimes” were seeking to use artificial intelligence for increased control over citizens.
