India’s advisory on DeepSeek: Handle with care

The Centre is likely to issue an “advisory” cautioning users about data privacy and cyber spying concerns surrounding Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) tool DeepSeek, top officials told ET. CERT-In, the country’s nodal agency for cybersecurity, has undertaken a thorough inquiry into potential harm to Indian citizens using the genAI application on their devices, they said.
