Vivo V50 with ZEISS cameras to launch in India on this date; no Vivo V50 Pro this time

The Vivo V50 is launching in India on February 17, Vivo announced today. There is no Vivo V50 Pro joining it this time, it seems. The V50 is a sequel to last year’s V40 and just like its predecessor, it focuses a great deal on design and portrait photography. It is—like the V40—co-created with ZEISS, the legendary German lens maker.

Vivo has revealed almost everything about the V50 leading into launch day. The phone’s design and marquee feature set are out in the public domain. Like previous V-series phones, the V50 has an aesthetically pleasing design with “paper-thin” dimensions.
