Qualcomm CEO gives an update on its legal fight with Arm

Qualcomm CEO says that Arm has withdrawn its October 2024 threat to terminate their licensing agreement, marking a significant de-escalation in the ongoing dispute between the two semiconductor giants over PC chip technology.

According to Reuters, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon revealed during the company’s first-quarter earnings call that Arm has formally retracted its breach notice and indicated no current plans to end their architectural licensing agreement.
