Swiggy’s net loss widens to Rs 499 crore in Q3 as competition soars

Bengaluru: Online food and grocery delivery platform Swiggy Ltd on Wednesday reported a widened net loss of 39% to Rs 799 crore in the October – December quarter as it pumped more money in its grocery business amidst rising competition from Zomato and Zepto. Swiggy reported a net loss of Rs 574 crore in the year-ago period.
