Nothing rolling out Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.0 for Phone (2), Phone (2a)

Nothing has begun rolling out Nothing OS 3.0, its latest Android 15-based operating system, to the Phone (2) and Phone (2a), the company announced Tuesday. The stable update will reach all users through a staggered release by the end of 2024.
The new operating system introduces a redesigned lock screen with expanded customization options, including new clock typefaces and widgets. A standout feature is the company’s native gallery app, which Nothing claims opens photos 1.4 seconds faster than Google Photos and includes enhanced editing tools for filters and markup.
