Apple might finally solve Magic Mouse’s biggest problem after 15 years
Apple is preparing a major redesign of its controversial Magic Mouse, addressing long-standing user complaints about ergonomics and charging functionality, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his latest Power On newsletter.
The design team, per Gurman, has been developing prototypes of a reimagined mouse that promises to be more modern and user-friendly. Most critically, the redesign aims to resolve the much-maligned charging port placement, which currently requires users to flip the mouse upside down to charge, rendering it unusable during power-up.
