This Chinese social media app has a ‘request’ for US court

TikTok and its parent company ByteDance have made an effort to prevent a US ban. They have reportedly asked a US appeals court to temporarily block a law that requires that parent company ByteDance to divest TikTok by January 19 or face a ban in the country.
