Nintendo confirms this classic Tetris game for Switch Online subscribers: Release date and more

The NES version of Tetris is coming to Nintendo Switch Online next week. This version was originally launched with the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) which was an 8-bit home video game console which was released by Nintendo in the 1980s. The same classic puzzle game was previously announced for a “winter” release during a Tetris Forever ‘Partner Direct’ trailer earlier this year. Nintendo has now confirmed the release date in a new update, making it available to all Switch Online subscribers. The Japanese gaming company also took to social media platform X (earlier Twitter) to announce the release date of the popular retro game.
