Punit Goenka asks ZEE board to relinquish him from his position as MD

Punit Goenka has asked the board of ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) to relieve him from the position of Managing Director as he wants to “focus” on the operational responsibilities as the chief executive officer, the company said in a statement on Monday.
