Dubai-based entrepreneur put under ‘digital arrest’ for hours at Bhopal home — till real cops knocked on his door

Timely intervention by Madhya Pradesh Police saved a man who has business interests in Dubai from losing money as cyber fraudsters had put him under digital arrest when he was at his Bhopal house.

State Cyber Cell Additional Director General Yogesh Deshmukh said after they received an alert, a team was dispatched to the location and it rescued the man from a room at his residence when he was being “interrogated” by the fraudsters.
