Apple’s new ‘Find My’ feature lets users share real-time location of items lost during transit

Apple is rolling out a new feature for its ‘Find My’ network, making it easier for iPhone users to track and find lost items. Dubbed ‘Share Item Location’, Apple says the functionality can help share the location of an AirTag or Find My compatible accessory with third parties such as airlines.

While Android does have a similar feature, Apple’s new feature is a bit more advanced. Available on iOS 18.2 public beta, which will soon be rolling out to iPhone Xs and newer models,
