German software giant SAP is doubling down on its investment in India, with plans to significantly expand its workforce in the country, a report has said. Company CEO Christian Klein has announced that India is poised to become SAP’s largest employee hub, and may surpass even its headquarters in Germany.
“We will over proportionally hire here [India] versus all the other labs,” said Klein during a visit to Bengaluru with the company’s executive and supervisory boards, as per news agency Reuters, which added that India will soon house the company’s biggest workforce, overtaking the headcount at company HQ.
