e-Commerce Export Hubs

In a significant move aimed at boosting the country’s e-commerce exports, the government has released a draft plan for the establishment of E-commerce Export Hubs (ECEH). The initiative, announced by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), is set to revolutionize the way small producers and artisans engage in cross-border trade.

The ECEH initiative is designed to provide a centralized infrastructure that will facilitate various stages of the export process. These hubs will include facilities for packing, storing, labelling and customs clearance, all under one roof. The primary objective is to ensure predictability, quick turnaround times and flexible payment options for e-commerce exports.
