Jabil to set up Rs 2,000 crore plant in Tamil Nadu, boosting Apple’s supply chain

Jabil, a global electronics contract manufacturer and key Apple supplier, will invest Rs 2,000 crore to establish a new electronics manufacturing facility in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. This investment is expected to generate around 5,000 jobs in the region.

An MoU was signed between a Tamil Nadu government delegation, led by chief minister MK Stalin, and Jabil in the presence of Matt Crowley, Jabil’s executive vice president, along with other senior company officials.
