Germany’s Bosch says to spin-off semiconductor business in January 2028

NEW DELHI: Germany’s Bosch said on Tuesday that it plans to transfer its semiconductor operations to a new division named Semiconductors, effective January 1, 2028. This reorganisation is part of the company’s corporate structure evolution, as part of Bosch Mobility, which was announced in October 2026.

The new Semiconductors division will continue to be assigned to the Mobility business sector. Bosch aims to achieve approximately 5 billion euros in semiconductor sales by 2030, according to the company.
